Review policy of ontexel.com
The review policy below will be applied from 25 May 2022.
- It is only possible to write a review after a stay in the accommodation,
the tenant will then receive a personal invitation by e-mail to write a review.
- After writing the review, the landlord has ten days to approve or reject the review
because it does not comply with the review policy. If this is not done within ten days, the review will be automatically posted.
- Only the 25 most recent reviews of each accommodation that comply with the review policy are shown on the websites
And only the corresponding grades count towards the average rating of an accommodation.
- There is no sponsorship or payment for writing reviews by the website.
Reviews cannot be posted if they meet any of the following:
- The review is not about the accommodation, the landlord or the immediate surroundings of the accommodation.
Examples:
A review can be rejected because it is about:
- The weather.
- One of the fellow travellers.
- A restaurant where the visitor has been.
A review cannot be disapproved because of:
- A comment about the immediate surroundings, such as the location of the accommodation on a busy road or in a place with little privacy.
- When writing the review, the tenant also has the opportunity to leave feedback for the landlord.
A review may be disapproved if it contains information that falls under feedback for the landlord and not under review.
Examples:
A review may be disapproved because it deals with:
- A broken light bulb.
- A spider's web.
A review cannot be disapproved because of:
- The website states that there is internet in the accommodation, but no internet is facilitated in the accommodation.
- The review is not useful for subsequent tenants.
Example:
- The review is highly subjective (contains more opinions than facts).
